Frequently asked questions
Why does Potato take so long to answer?
It’s thinking. We don’t limit thinking time: good thoughts take time, and potato thoughts especially so.
Where is my data physically stored?
Nowhere. A request lives in the tuber until it dries out. There are no backups — we checked the cellar.
How are the models different?
Village Potato is big and thoughtful, Central Asian Potato is balanced, Baby Potato is small and quick. All three hallucinate equally little.
Do you count visitors?
Yes, but only the numbers. The server records the time and the name of an event like “someone opened the site” — no IP address, no browser, no name. We don’t know who visited.
Can I eat the server?
Only after decommissioning, and only if it has no green patches. Green nodes are disposed of separately.
Does Potato work offline?
In a sense, Potato only works offline. The browser is just there so you can ask the question.
